This policy explains what personal information Behind Marketing Lines (“BML”, “we”, “us”) collects through bmlines.com, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short and only collect what we need.
What we collect
Job applications. When you apply through our careers page we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile, the role you're applying for, salary expectation, how you heard about us, and your CV.
Messages. If you contact us on WhatsApp, email or phone, we receive whatever you choose to send us. WhatsApp is run by Meta and its own privacy terms apply to messages sent through it.
Website usage. If you accept cookies, we use analytics and advertising tools to understand how people find and use our site. If you decline, these tools don't store personal information about you. See our Cookie Policy.
Security data. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type), and our careers form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and bots.
Why we use it
- To review job applications and contact applicants.
- To reply to your messages and enquiries.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it.
- To measure and improve our own advertising, where you have agreed to cookies.
- To keep the website and forms secure.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We only share it with service providers that help us run the website and our business, such as our web host, email provider, Google (analytics and tag management), Meta, and Cloudflare. They process it on our behalf or under their own privacy terms.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Our team and service providers work in different countries, so your information may be processed outside the country you live in. We take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected wherever it is handled.
How long we keep it
We keep job applications for as long as we need them for recruitment, and generally no longer than 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we agree otherwise with you. Other information is kept only as long as it is useful for the purposes above or required by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent to cookies at any time from our Cookie Policy page.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and spam protection on our forms. No website can be completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information we haven't asked for.
Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
